Restoran Deli Lotus is a cozy and authentic Chinese noodle haven nestled in the heart of Maluri, Kuala Lumpur. Specializing in traditional pan mee, this restaurant offers an experience that every noodle lover should indulge in. Located at 7, Jalan Jejaka 7, this spot is known for its distinctive hand-pulled noodles that boast a satisfyingly firm texture, a uniqueness that might divide diners but ultimately leaves a lasting impression.
The star of the menu at Restoran Deli Lotus is undoubtedly their pan mee, available in three generous portion sizes: small (RM11), medium (RM12), and large (RM15). Whether you prefer your noodles served dry or in a steaming savory broth, each bowl is crafted with care, bursting with a rich combination of minced meat and fresh mushrooms that add depth and heartiness to each bite. The broth, described by regular patrons as “ooh laa laa,” carries a perfect umami balance, though some find it slightly saltier than usual. For fans of spice, the subtle kick from the chili creates an alluring heat without overwhelming the palate.
Beyond the noodles, their milk tea serves as a comforting companion, smooth and flavorful, offering a sweet counterpoint to the savory dishes. While the option to add extra vegetables comes at a slight premium, the generous portions of meat and mushrooms make each bowl feel satisfying and wholesome. The atmosphere within Deli Lotus is warm and welcoming—staff are notably friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed dining experience. Though parking can be a little challenging at times, the intimate crowd ensures a calm setting, perfect for savoring a quiet meal.

I am hot soup person and I'm into noodle with texture so this shop was decent for me. I could understand how the texture would be hard for some. There are total 3 sizes of pan mee- small @ RM11, medium@RM12 and big@RM15 What I don't understand would be how adding vegetables to my bowl of noodle is An additional RM5:x Anyway another very striking things about these shops about the amount of old aunties running this shop. They don't speak in the most polite manner but they were friendly depends how you perceive them

The Panmee is decent. The texture of the mee is perfect. Should give 5 stars if the soup is said 10 to 20% less salty. The milk tea is good too. Crowd is not that much. Need a bit of luck to get a parking.

Ordered dry pan mee. The choice here is either soup pan mee or dry pan mee. Taste is nice, slightly salty than normal overall is good. The minced meat and mushroom given is generous too! They allow you to add extra soup as well. Combination with chilli is just nice, slightly spicy but it is acceptable! The owner and staff here is friendly and welcomed.

The texture of the pan mee slightly hard, some ppl like it, for me acceptable. More recommended on soup. Portion of the minced meat is a lot.

When it comes to good wholesome pan mee, there is pan mee and there is “pan mee.” If you are looking for the real deal, check out Deli Lotus at Taman Maluri for shockalingam, Yummylicious and slurpylicious pan mee. The pan mee broth here is ooh laa laa. They even have homemade longan tau foo to wash it down. Definitely a place to go for pan mee aficionados.
